With a string of iconic characters under his belt, including Romeo in Romeo and Juliet, Malcolm in Macbeth and Andrei Bolkonsky in War and Peace, Wayne's natural theatrical talent was plain to see.
Born and raised in the vibrant community of Stirchley, Birmingham, Wayne's early career involved working with various theatre companies across the U.K. and securing minor roles in television and film. However, after the loss of a family member, he discovered his true calling and made the bold decision to transition into producing, using his creative vision to establish Stirch Smith Productions.
After a brief foray into stuntman management, Wayne relocated to Indonesia, where he has remained an integral part of the international independent filmmaking community, fostering connections and collaborations that transcend borders. Today, Wayne is devoted to nurturing the next generation of filmmakers, offering mentorship, financial support, and guidance to projects that resonate with his passion for storytelling. With an unwavering commitment to the art form, he continues to play a vital role in shaping the future of independent filmmakers.
